KANANASKIS RIVER

Winding through the picturesque landscape of Kananaskis Provincial Park, the Kananaskis River is the ideal whitewater experience for families or as a corporate group outing.

Centrally located just 45 minutes west of Calgary and 45 minutes east of Banff in the front ranges of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, this river offers the novice rafter a thrilling and fun introduction to whitewater. This river tour is rated as grade 2 to 3.

Minimum requirements for this trip are 5 years of age and 40 lbs.

Trips depart twice daily from the magnificent Nakoda Lodge at 8:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Transportation is available from Banff & Canmore at a $10 additional charge.
Departs from Banff 8:00 a.m and 12:45 p.m. Departs from Canmore 8:30 a.m and 1:15 p.m.
